Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Source, purchase and manage stock and non-stock materials
  • Perform vendor management (qualify and maintain vendors)
  • Creation and manage purchase orders
  • Develop cost-efficient strategies in purchasing goods and services
  • Liaise with local and international forwarders
  • Liaise with sales engineers and project engineers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Coordinate with principal suppliers (foreign and local) to expedite delivery of goods and services
  • Assist accounting department in the settlement of purchases(account payables)
  • Coordinate with the logistics department for proper preparation of Delivery Receipts

Job Requirement

  • At least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software, Office 2000, basic accounting procedures
  • At least 1 year of working experience in Purchasing is required, more experience preferred
  •  Effective communication and excellent negotiation and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge in importation of goods, freight methods, etc.
  • Willing to work in Pasig City
  • Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status
  • Full-time position available
